Madrid
Madrid is the last of the cities I visited in Spain. Instead of a personal tour guide we took a group tour. We stayed in the Hostal Madrid. We got upgraded to an apartment for free. My favorite place to visit in Madrid was the Santiago Bernabeu stadium for the Real Madrid soccer team. There was a Lamborghini parked outside the stadium that you could rent by the mile. We took a tour inside the stadium and my favorite part about that was the history of Real Madrid. We also visited the Prado art museum, Reina Sophia art museum, and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza art museum. My dad love art but me, not as much. We also saw of all fast food restaurants a Steak and Shake in construction there. We went to the Royal Palace which looks similar to the Palace of Versailles in near Paris. We also saw the cathedral there, but we didn't go inside. After the last day in Madrid, we went to the airport and took the next flight back to Frankfurt. From there we flew back to Houston.

Segovia
I stayed at Hostel Don Jaime. I had a wonderful tour guide that took us all around Segovia. My favorite part was the aqueduct. It was made when the romans came to Spain over 2000 years ago. It is still able to function but is not used. Segovia has a spectacular view of the mountains. In one part of the mountain you could make out a woman laying down as if it were carved into the mountain. My dad's favorite part was the Alcazar which he had dreamed of going to since his high school Spanish class, where his teacher had a poster that looks like the picture bellow. My dad made me walk all the way down to a field on the other side of the city just to not be satisfied with the picture he took. Later that day we took a taxi to a different place that was close to the field to get his perfect picture.
Toledo
For spring break I went to Spain with my dad. We had to fly to Frankfurt,Germany and then fly to Madrid. From there I took a train to Toledo where we stayed at Hotel St. Isabell. I had a tour guide named . he showed us these churches that turned to museums and taught us the history of Spain. He told me that Toledo used to be the capital of Spain in the 1500s. We were right next to the beautiful cathedral which houses the Spanish cardinal[ like an arch-bishop]. I went to the top of the cathedral where the bells were. We saw the alcazar of Toledo[ military museum] which used to be a castle. My favorite part was getting a hand made sword. I got a katana. Toledo is the place where the people in Madrid go for the weekend so it was pretty crowded. At the end we took a train back to Madrid and took another to Segovia which was the second of the 3 cites I was got to visit.
